Mr. Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing. (= graduate in engineering and management) Josef Neumeier has been training the project directors and project managers working in our business divisions "managerial and organizational development as well as human resources” to enable them to direct and supervise projects.

Tremendous Wealth of Knowledge
Josef brought a tremendous wealth of knowledge, understanding, skill, and experience to his position as advisor/project manager. His sound knowledge of strategic management, investment and trade promotion, and international affairs/relations was of enormous support to the IP/TP Unit. In addition, he worked closely with the provincial government, national and international institutions, and business corporations. With his know-how and experience and his personality, he was always able to define and create the necessary link between government and business, taking into consideration the mutual and necessary benefit for both the private and public sectors.
During his tenure as the acting head of the program, he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of the unit comprising a total staff of 12 employees and a budget of 26 million rand. Under his leadership, the unit always achieved its ambitious targets and in a parallel process, all sectors of the investment and trade promotion unit were re-assessed and refocused. The economic recession that began to threaten both developed and emerging economies required additional re-assessment and refocusing of all sectors of the investment and trade promotion unit, which he spearheaded. This process was carried out with all major stakeholders of the province as well as the respective government departments.
